Muslim Facts

Abraham is the patriarch of the Jewish people through Isaac, the son born to him and Sarah in their old age.
Abraham is also known as the patriarch of Islam through his son Ishmael, born to Abraham and his wife’s servant Hagar.
Ishmael was rejected and Isaac became the heir.

 Genesis 25

Ishmael’s Descendants
12This is the account of the family of Ishmael, the son of Abraham through Hagar, Sarah’s Egyptian servant. 18Ishmael’s descendants occupied the region from Havilah to Shur, which is east of Egypt in the direction of Asshur. There they lived in open hostility toward all their relatives.

Isaac’s Descendants
19This is the account of the family of Isaac, the son of Abraham. 20When Isaac was forty years old, he married Rebekah, the daughter of Bethuel the Aramean from Paddan-aram and the sister of Laban the Aramean.
23And the LORD told her, “The sons in your womb will become two nations. From the very beginning, the two nations will be rivals. One nation will be stronger than the other; and your older son will serve your younger son.” The Births of Esau and Jacob

Koran Facts:
Who is Jesus, if He is not the Son of God?
Koran gives most preference to Jesus:
Jesus is mentioned 25x in Koran. Mohammad is mentioned only 4x.
The Koran has 114 chapters and 6666 words.
The only woman’s name mentioned in Koran is Mariam, the mother of Jesus.
There is no mention of Mohammad's mother, sister, or his wife.
Ch. 3 in Koran is titled “ Family of Mariam”
Ch. 19 is titled “Mariam”
Koran 3:34 - Mariam was born without original sin
She never committed any sin in Her life.
She was ever virgin
Koran 50:23 She went to heaven in her physical body. The Assumption is written in the Koran.

Koran 3:45-55 There are 10 points that the Koran makes about Jesus:
Jesus is Word of God – Spirit of God – and the Messiah.
Jesus spoke when He was 2 days old
Jesus created a live bird out of mud. He took some mud, breathed in it and it became a live bird. Jesus can give life
Jesus healed a man born blind and others with leprosy.
Jesus gives life to dead people
Jesus went to heaven – Jesus is still alive today and He will come again.

So what does the Koran say about Mohammad?
Mohammad is not the Word of God or the Spirit of God never spoke at 2 days old, never created a bird out of mud – never healed any sick people, never raised any dead people, he himself died. He is not alive and he will not come back.
There is allot of difference between these 2 prophets in the Koran.
Jesus is a prophet greater than Mohammad.
The Koran teaches that the universe was created through the Word.
Is “Word” creator or creation? Koran says Jesus is the Word of God.
This means that Jesus is creator. But if the “Word” means creation, then
Therefore, Muslims must become Christians.
Muslims say the “Word” is not creation and not creator and not god.
Therefore that is why Christians say that Jesus is the Son of God.
Question: how can you have a son without a wife and god had no wife.

In the Koran it says that god can see without eyes and hear without ears he can talk without tongue. It is written in the Koran therefore why can’t God have a son without a wife?
Who should you accept? Mohammad is dead and Jesus is still alive.
Ask God to tell you.
Open Koran to 10:94  If you have any doubt in this Koran which I give to you, go and read the 4 Gospels in the Bible (+Torah)
or the people who read the Bible. The Truth is already revealing that. The holy Koran can convert you to Christianity.

Muslims think that Christians worship 3 gods.
Answer: Christians worship One God (3 divine Persons)
As metaphor you can say: that God is like the sun that has light and heat.
The Father is the sun - Jesus is the light (Jesus said: I am the Light of the world. He who sees Me sees the Father) and the warmth is the Holy Spirit.

Problem: Jesus was a Jew and He started Christianity and when Muslims die they will first see Jesus who will judge them on how well they followed the Koran.

Mohammad was born 600 years after Jesus, so how can He be a Muslim prophet?

Negative:
Muslims have the right to kill anyone who does not respect Islam
For example, an Answer quotes Qur'an 9:5, translating it as

Fight and kill the disbelievers wherever you find them, take them captive, harass them, lie in wait and ambush them using every stratagem of war. Qur'an 9:5

Muslim apologetic answer:
However, the word there is not as it is translated. "Disbelievers" would be kaafiruwn. (Literally,  the "rejectors," or those who "cover up" the truth, as a farmer covers up seeds, the word "kaafir" also means "farmer.")
The word instead is "mushrikiyn," which is loosely translated as "polytheists," but in context, this is clearly referring to a certain party of people who had fought against the Muslims, and tried, for years, to kill them.
This command, and it is written as a command, no doubt about it, only takes effect after the expiration of a four month grace period, and it is to understand all this that I asked the question. However, this much is quite clear: this is not a command to go and kill all polytheists, everywhere, and, as apparent historical fact, most of those people accepted Islam, and in short order, were running the Muslim world.

(Note: All the verses are from the noted Islamic scholar Abdullah Yusuf Aali's English translation which is the most widely used and accepted version the world over)

1. Surah (3:151) Aal-Imran
Soon shall We cast terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers, for that they joined companions with Allah, for which He had sent no authority: their abode will be the Fire: And evil is the home of the wrong-doers

2. Surah (4:89) Al-Maidah
They but wish that ye should reject Faith, as they do, and  thus be on the same footing (as they): But take not friends from their ranks until they flee in the way of Allah (From what is forbidden). But if they turn renegades, seize them and slay them wherever ye find them; and (in any case) take no friends or helpers from their rank.

3. Surah (8:12) Al-Anfal
Remember thy Lord inspired the angels (with the message): "I am with you: give firmness to the Believers: I will instil terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers: smite ye above their necks and smite all their finger-tips off them."

4. Surah (9:5) At-Tauba
Then, when the sacred months have passed, slay the idolaters wherever ye find them, and take them (captive), and besiege them, and prepare for them each ambush. But if they repent and establish worship and pay the zakat then leave their way free. Lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.

5. Surah (9:29) At-Tauba
Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the zakat with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.

Pay the “zakat” : The Zakat (charity) is an obligatory payment on all believers who have an income. This payment is to be paid to in accordance to God's instructions.

If we apply this to the word "al-affwoo" which is used in 2:219 and which is related to the payment of Zakat, we can see that God is telling us that we should pay Zakat (charity) from that part of our income which we can afford to give away without the need to ask for it back, or in other words what we can afford to overlook and pardon without incurring any hardship.
